It’s hard to believe how fast time flies. My “baby” is a little over two months old, and she’s already surprising me.
Since Kirkus Reviews had such good things to say, I wondered if (hoped that) Readers’ Choice would agree. There was only one way to find out. A few weeks before Aylen Isle’s publication date, I submitted the novel to Readers’ Choice for a review.
After so many weeks of waiting, I almost forgot about it. Until today, when I got the results via email:

That awesomely amazing email came with this badge!
I’m absolutely beside myself with excitement!
But enough about me. Here’s the part of the review that doesn’t give away too much of the plot:
Aylen Isle: Winnie and the “Wizard” is the third book in this captivating teen fantasy fiction series by Aud Supplee. The book follows the journey of Winnie Harris as she embarks on an epic mission to an alternate world to save an enchanted princess. This is an imaginative and well-crafted novel which draws readers into a magical world of adventure and self-discovery. With a well-paced plot, timely twists and turns, and a relatable female protagonist, the book will keep readers engaged until the very end. A must-read for young adult readers who love fantasy fiction. Star rating: 5 Stars
Of course, it wouldn’t be a review without the requisite one-sentence summary: An exquisite novel for young adult readers, packed full of action and adventure, and familiar fantasy fiction themes.
The link to the full review is above. But here is what the web page looks like:
Many thanks to everybody who encouraged me when I worried Book 3 wouldn’t measure up to her older siblings. Hilary was right. “It takes a village!” 😀
Aud, congratulations on that 5-star, excellent review! Whoo hoo!
Not to mention being a finalist — that’s exciting!
I’m so pleased for Aylen Isle. Well-deserved kudo, kid!
Thanks, Gemma! It was a delightful surprise!
Congratulations Aud🎉
Thanks, Angela. I’m pumped!!
How are things coming along with your book? Do you have an official publication date yet?
